I%26#39;m planning to spend 5 days driving from Grenoble to Nice this August. Would you recommend spending a couple of days in any particularly nice village? Are there any sights worth seeing. Looking for a relaxing holiday, maybe a few nice walks, nice restaurants, any winery%26#39;s on the way? Thanks.

Should be a very pretty drive. We really liked the villages of Annot and Entrevaux. Both have a medieval ambiance. You can park and explore on foot.
Entrevaux has a castle high up above switchbacks, that you hike to. We loved the views and exploring the castle in March - it may be hot for hiking in the summer. There is another village closer to Grenoble that Rick Steves mentions in his guidebook to France, Clelles, I think, which might be worth seeing.
