weather in Biarritz?

hi,

Heading to Biarrtiz for a family holiday in August.

Has anyone been there at that time. I am hearing various things about the climate there.

Want sun, sea and family fun!!

It should be warm - but reemeber this is the Atlantic coast, so rainy weather can, and does, roll in sometimes.

We stayed north of Biarritz last July. We had a few wet days but generally it was warm and dry. However, be warned it can get nippy in the evening so pack some sweaters!

We went there in October, it was just right! We were on the beach and got sun burnt!

August is generally one of the warmest months of the year. Expect 25+ degrees with average amount of rain. Biarritz has same sort of weather as the UK.

Be prepared though, I have heard that July, august and september are the most busiest times of the year when the cities empty out into these coastal towns.
