Paris Vacation Apartment - Sacre Coeur

Has anyone stayed in The Sacre Coeur 2 bedroom with balcony apartment with Paris Vacation Apartments?

The apartment looks nice. How is the neighbourhood? Is it safe? Are there restaurants/markets nearby? I%26#39;m staying with my 2 young children. Is it quiet as well?

If you mean 12 rue Charles Nodier...

60m2 with three rooms, bath and kitchen, means the rooms are very small. I think the photos make it appear to be more spacious than it really is - and bare wood floor in photos with minimal furniture make rooms look much larger.

As for the location, this is a very hilly area of Montmartre, which is very hilly in most areas.

The %26quot;neighborhood%26quot; is a bit too close to Barbes-Rochechouart for me, personally. To me, anyway, the area west of Sacre Coeur is far more scenic and charming.

If you plan to go all over Paris during your visit, I would pick a location closer to more favorable metro lines and bus routes, especially with young children.

The Sacre Coeur area is definitely not too quiet if that%26#39;s what you%26#39;re looking for while traveling with young children. I haven%26#39;t stayed at this particular 2-bedroom apartment that you%26#39;re referring to; however, I highly recommend visiting this website for parisian apartment rentals:

www.holidays-france-rentals.com

We just came back from Paris in May and stayed in Montmartre which is near Sacre Coeur and not only did we find the best accommodations for our needs: myself, spouse, mother-in-law, and a small dog (shiba inu) but it seemed as if we made %26quot;local friends%26quot; in Paris in the entire staff that we made contact with from this company.

Under Bernard Vidal%26#39;s leadership (president of the company), you will surely find the best service and perfect accommodations; they don%26#39;t just provide you with lodging, they will give you all the information that you need for all of your travel needs.

We are already thinking about our next Parisian trip and deciding on which neighborhood we will stay - Bernard sure has quite an extensive inventory of luxurious accommodations and suitable for any budget.

This is the first time we%26#39;ve ever travelled abroad and stayed in an apartment as opposed to a hotel and I think that we%26#39;re hooked!

Thanks djkbooks for your insight. I am considering staying near the Louvre or Luxembourg Gardens instead. Any opinion as to which is the better area with children?

ragdoll, I totally concur with djkbooks on this subject. I think you, and the children, would be quite happy staying near Lux Gdn. It%26#39;s a haven for small children and grownups alike, both Parisians and tourists.
