10-day trip planning

Hi! I am in the process of planning a 10-day trip to the French Riviera with 2 other couples. We want to visit Nice, Monaco, Monte Carlo, St. Tropez, Cannes...or maybe that is too many places for that amount of time? I need to know the %26quot;must-see%26quot; and %26quot;don%26#39;t bother%26quot; things. We love to eat, drink wine, visit the local history and culture. We are early 50%26#39;s, agewise, so no need for nightclubs or nightlife. We much prefer bistros and sidewalk dining. Also, what is the weather like in early November? We will be traveling in Nov. %26#39;09. Any information anyone can give me would be most appreciated. We spent 10 days in Italy, all 6 of us, in Nov. %26#39;07 and had a great time but spent way too much money. I am planning early in hopes of getting some information on my own instead of relying on a travel agent.

Thanks in advance!

Carol

if you scroll through the TA postings of the past few months all of your questions will be answered. Monaco and Monte Carlo are the same place, really, and I would not rush to see them but if you must don%26#39;t plan on spending more than a couple of hours. The same goes for Cannes. Just read the postings and hotels, restaurants and day trips are all well covered.
