Carnet tickets for kids & is this a good route ??

Hello

We are doing a day trip to Paris next Saturday and are planning to get around by walking and metro. We have two children 8 and 5.

Will they need these the same carnet tickets, or are there childrens tickets?

Is this a reasonable and correct route. I have tried looking at the metro map and the paris map to plan it

Arrive GDN 10am. Get blue line 2 stops to St Michael Notre dame, change to yellow line to Champs de Mars Tour Eiffel and go straight to Eiffel Tower for the hopefully not too long wait.

Then turn right and walk aong The Seine to Pont D%26#39;Alma bridge, cross and head up Avenue du President Wilson for the market to get some food for picnic. Walk to Trocadero.

Take green line 3 stops to Charles de Gaulle etoile.

See Arc du Triomphe and tomb of unknown soldier.

Walk down Champs Elysees to Place du Concorde. Is there a bus which goes to along here if its a long walk.

Picnic in Jardin Tuilleries, see pyramid and outside of Louvre.

Wht is the best way to get to Notre Dame from here, and then whaT is the best way to get to Montnartre from there. We want to get a drawing done of the children in the Palce du Tetre before heading back to Gard du Nord

I know it seems a bit regimental but with only 8 hours, we want to make the most of The time and not worry about wasting time on transport.

Any help would be great. Thanks

You can buy a discounted carnet (10 tickets) for your children ... cost 5,55 Euros

It’s just over a kilometre walk along the Seine and across Pont Neuf to get to Notre Dame. You’ll need to take public transport to get to Montmartre – www.rapt.fr is your best bet. Plug in where you will be travelling from, where you are going, date and approximate time and it will give you the options.
