Long lay over in CDG, same day -- Where to stay and rest?

hi all,

we arrive at charles de gaulle, from the US, at around 11:30 in the morning and continue on to africa the same day/night, at around 11 PM. can anyone suggest a place for us to rest for the day that doesn%26#39;t require going into paris? we%26#39;ll be staying for a few days on our way back and are really just looking for a spot to kill time during that very long day.

any ideas are appreciated. thank you.

I think that you can get a day room at the Hotel IBIS at the airport. The rooms are very plain, but you can nap and have a small shower. We did this about 10 years ago and it was convenient but not too expensive.

Thanks for the suggestion. I%26#39;ll look into the Ibis hotels as there seem to be a few right near or even at the airport.
