The Ile de Ré is quite small, and it is very easy to get around the island in a very short time, so although you are staying in Sainte Marie de Ré, in ten minutes by car you can be in La Flotte, St Matin de Ré, Ars en Ré, or just about anywhere on the island.

Or, you could hire bikes and cycle just about anywhere on the island. There are loads of cycle paths, and the island is quite flat. You can hire bikes in all the main towns, and you can have bikes with child seats, or with little child %26quot;sidecars%26quot; that are towed behind the bike.

We love the Ile de Ré, and usually spend two or three weekends every year there; I am sure you will love it too.

Hello! Have you been to Ile De Re yet? I%26#39;m staying in St Marie for 1 month, been here a week so far but could give you my opinions if you%26#39;re interested?!

Thanks
