This was one of my favourite stops on our Sept/06 cruise. We decided to make the most of our stop, by hiring a driver and a van and shared cost with 3 other couples we met on the Cruise Critic site prior to the cruise. We saw Nice (loved the flower market on a Saturday), Cannes, St. Paul de Vence and Eze. Couldn%26#39;t have seen so much on our own. The driver spoke excellent English and picked us up right at the pier. Something to consider, if you%26#39;re only there for one day.

Can you tell me how much your taxi cost, please, and how you found it?
Was Eze worth the visit - I have been to St Paul.

Our family is also going on a cruise, and we%26#39;d like to make the most of our day in Villefranche. I was hoping to get some help, tho. We%26#39;re taking an RCI tour on Voyager of the Seas, which has over 2,000 passengers. I read on the criticcruise.com message boards that we have to tender at Villefranche, and that RCI tour passengers and Diamond members are ticketed to get off first. Our RCI tour isn%26#39;t scheduled to leave the ship until 1:00 p.m. Is there any way that we can arrange to get priority tendering, so that we can walk around Villefranche before our tour starts? Also, would we be permitted to stay on shore and wait for our 1:00 tour to tender over to the pier, where we%26#39;d meet them?
