Stuck at CDG for 8 hours

Hello:

I will be traveling to Egypt via France (CDG Airport) where I have an extremely long layover (7 to 8 hours). Any suggestions on how to fill my time?

Not much you can do on that short of time. Are you clearing customs and checking in again, or is it a true connection?

I would just find a restaurant have a nice lunch and just watch the people go buy

If you were thinking of heading into town, you time would be very limited as it is at least 45 minutes each way on the RER.
