we are a family of 5 (3 teenagers)staying in Vieux Port in August for 7 nights.
Hotel looks good, but doesn%26#39;t include breakfast, which is expensive.
Anyone know of good cheap places for breakfast in the area?

If you go to the Place du General de Gaule up from the Vieux Port on La Canebiere, there is lots of lovely cafes where the french go for cafe et croissant in the morning. There%26#39;s a beautiful water feature and little french sparrows to share your breakfast. Enjoy! I%26#39;m going back to Marseille in a week and am so so so excited!

There is no shortage of places to go for breakfast but with three hungry teenagers, it may not be cheap!
Perhaps you could get some fruit from the many markets scattered around Marseille to have in the room?
And some pastries???
Shopping for these types of things is easy!
