Please has anyone done this trip by train, and how far is the Chateau to the Maintenon train station.Is it walkable, or istheir any reliable form of transport to and from Chateau Maintenon.
I would love to do this as part of a Chartres day trip, but want to make sure it is feasible and worthwhile.
