goodcost.com is a fraud company-DON'T BUY FROM THEM

I purchased a bag on line 4 months ago, goodcost took my money and so far no bag and no money back. I have requested my refund in many e-mails with no luck so far. I found similar stories from other people, but too late. I am going to try to expose these people. Does anybody know how to report them in France?

Did you use a credit card? If so, contact your credit card company and dispute the charge.

What has France to do with your transaction? I did a quick search; GoodCost.com is a company selling cheapish (and I assume totally illegal) copies of expensive brand items. Their domain name is registered in the U.S.A. but there%26#39;s no mention of any physical address on the site (which should have warned you!). I%26#39;m not sure, but the domain name owner seems to be one Don Hyuk Hong in Korea (1240-19,, sadong ansan, kyunggi korea, ours2000@dreamwiz.com).

From their website: %26quot;How authentic is the look of your bags compared with the original?

- Our bags are nearly identical in every way. We are proud of our quality and you will be too. You can read more about our bags here.%26quot;

%26quot;All products are replicas unless otherwise specified.%26quot;

They also say: %26quot;All of our products are imported from France%26quot;, but I wouldn%26#39;t take that too seriously...

Everything Jan said

No phone number

No address

No indication they are French (like a French language option)

Contact your CC company and ask for a refund.

I wondered what this had to do with France too

If you look a little more closely you will see a sentence amongst the poorly designed web site that says %26#39;All our items are shipped from France%26#39; - there you go ;P

The whole Company is trading illegally and outside the DSR%26#39;s

A charge back on your credit card si the only way you will recoup your money unless you paid via paypal and are eligible for buyer protection via them

I DID look more closely - it literally says %26quot;All of our products are imported from France%26quot;, which is something very different from %26quot;all our items are shipped from France%26quot;.

Even if you take that %26quot;All of our products are imported from France%26quot; seriously, it literally says that you%26#39;re dealing with a company outside of France (or they couldn%26#39;t import from France, right?)

The website will probably be taken down soon - and resurface under some other name. It happens all the time; they usually have some months until the lawyers and the police can catch up with them.

I understand that the only payment option on the site is Paypal; at least it is now. You might try contacting them - they%26#39;ve got a %26quot;PayPal Buyer Complaint Policy - Our best efforts program to reimburse Users for losses only to the extent we are able to recover the funds from sellers.%26quot; That last part may be the problem...
