One day in paris

Hi,

I have one full day in Paris with not much money! Can anyone reccomend anything to see and do that is free/cheap?

Free and cheap, for one day?

I%26#39;d go to Place St. Michel to people watch in front of the fountain, go to Notre Dame, window-shop on the Ile St. Louis, walk along the Seine, and soak up some sun at the Luxembourg Gardens just up the street a bit from Place St. Michel.

It doesn%26#39;t cost anything to get into Notre Dame, or Sacre Couer. The view of the city from Sacre Couer is fabulous and there are alot of quaint areas to walk around the Basilica.

Viewing the Eiffel from Trocaderro is free and fabulous. Go to Rue Cler market near the Eiffel, pick up a picnic lunch and find a spot on Champs du Mars at the Eiffel for lunch (cheap and fun).

Walk along the River and sit in a cafe and people watch.

I am one who thinks you can have a blast in Paris on a tight budget!!!
